Dragon’s Backbone

High in the mountains in Guanxi Province is the ancient (900) year old Yao minority village of Ping’an. Over a period of several hundreds of years the people of the area built terraces up the mountainsides to grow tea. You reach the village by a hair-raising half-hour drive up and around the mountain. [

Then you walk uphill on stone steps and paths for another 20 minutes to reach back into the past.
